Skerbeck Carnival
is a leader in Michigans amusement industry and is well positioned for continued
growth and success. This is achieved by sticking to our principles of professionalism and quality of operation.
Professionalism
Event coordinators can expect Skerbeck Carnival to be professional in its dealings from
the initiation of a proposal, to agreement on contract language and financial terms,
through the final execution of contract deliverables. The management team is accountable
for delivering the midway and provides timely communications with event coordinators
throughout the process. Skerbeck Carnival is respectful of public and private property and
is sensitive to community and special interest concerns.
Quality of Operation Event coordinators can expect Skerbeck Carnival to
provide the highest quality operation. All show equipment is well maintained, kept
sparkling clean, and brightly lit. Employees adhere to a no-smoking policy and wear clean
uniforms. Ride safety and height signs are clearly visible and easy to read. Game
concessions have clear rules-of-play signs displayed in prominent locations and are
well-stocked with prizes meant to be won. Covered rest areas are used for patron seating.
Ticket boxes are conveniently located and clearly identify prices and ride height
requirements. Trash is picked up throughout the duration of the event, during open hours,
and after closing each day.
Professionalism and quality of operation occur because Skerbeck family members directly
manage all day to day operations and are responsible for implementing the company
policies. Pride of ownership allows the organization to perform as a viable and healthy
long-term business partner with each and every one of the event venues with which it
contracts.
